New Socialist Party (NSP) will hold its 23rd National Congress in Tokyo on April 14 and 15.
The event will focus on issues of poverty and the government’s drives of Constitution
amendment, nuclear power development program and military bases. The points are
strengthening mass movements and implementing the constitutional rights. Less
than a month is left before the scheduled encounter. Let’s discuss profoundly
and consolidate actions to make the congress successful enough to bring down
the Abe government.
TOPPLE ABE GOVERNMENT AS PRIMARY GOAL
Moritomo problem was questioned first by a member the Toyonaka City Assembly, Osaka Prefecture.
Disclosure of facts now shakes the central government. It is high time to force
the Abe government to resign.
administration has manipulated politics for its favor, which becomes evident
through the scandals over schools of Moritomo and Kake. A lot of facts have
been concealed by the ruling majority parties as well as mass media which are obediently
sensitive to the government’s responses. Now uncovered is deception.
ministry official committed a suicide recently as he had been ordered to obey
against his will. This is a crime of abuse of the government’s power, which
cannot be compensated even by sacking all the cabinet members.
maybe looms over the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), who recollects a
candle revolution witnessed in Republic
of Korea last year. The
coalition government becomes anxious so that the scandal should calm down. Do
not miss the chance. Let’s take this opportunity in order not only to overturn
the Abe government but also to establish a political platform to restore
constitutional rights, rejecting today’s policies leaving poverty and
inequality intact. Let’s get united with people in the rallies, street parades
and campaigns in front of the parliament building. Let’s hoist our flags high in
Causes of Poverty and Uncertainty
movements are crucial before the annual meeting. The actions encourage people
both inside and outside the party.
NSP lost the Diet’s seats 20 years ago, but since then it has committed firmly
and determinedly in the state’s politics as well as agenda emerging in
workplaces and local communities. This unshakable stance is able to switch
distrust and resignation on to enormous energy to change today’s politics. Let’s
share our experiences in common.
NSP has disclosed the root causes of poverty and uncertainty; they are big
business, whose objective is to win the maximum profit to monopolize wealth,
and the government, which obeys to the former. At the same time, however, we
must be prepared for a possibility that poverty and distrust in politics should
invite fascism and Constitution amendment.
arrogant stance of the Abe government produces frictions with the neighboring
countries, creating hostilities and leading Japanese people to going to wars.
NSP members have engaged in the issues of people’s livelihood and public
services as well as major tasks of the party. We must review our commitments.
We must analyze correctly our weakness.
does a group like Hashimoto-Ishin get stronger? Why does the Abe government enjoy
solely the strongest status in the Japanese politics? Do we precisely
understand the era in which people are deprived of the right of job
opportunity? Do we seriously see facts of livelihood in which people face
poverty and hopelessness, which are consequences of the unequal society? People
suffer from daily struggles and politics is far from them. What action should
we take in these circumstances?
NSP must have the right language and behavior for people to gain sympathy. We
must listen to voices of suffering people. Let’s commit in the agenda of the 23rd
congress. Let’s share our experiences in common to learn lessons and enhance movements.
